NGN Jiu Jitsu academy in Grafton Wisconsin will be host to the first ever Arnolds / PanAms Training Camp on February 27th 2010. Doors will open at 11:30AM and the training camp will run from 12PM-4PM. 

Seminar Instruction will be given by Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt (under Pedro Sauer) Jon “White Trash” Friedland and the 2009 PanAm’s Winner and BJJ Brown Belt Scott Huston.

After the seminars...

Congratulations on Neutral Ground Jiu Jitsu & MMA on their recent victory against Waukesha MMA in their national caged grappling championship dual meet. The night started off slow with NG having to forfeit the first two weight classes because no one on the team was that weight. So starting in the hole, team Neutral Ground fought back and managed to take the lead by the end to defeat Waukesha MMA.

It was a great night of caged grappling matches!

 

Neutral Ground North in Grafton will be hosting the MIdwest Arnolds & PanAms Jiu Jitsu training camp. This camp will be lead by Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt Jon "White Trash" Friedland and 2009 Pan Am Gold Medalist and BJJ Brown Belt Scott Huston. The seminars will focus on competition strategy and techniques.

After the seminars, the camp will consist of:

• Compeition style matches with scoring and points (but for fun)
• Question and answer
• Drills
• Open Mat

There are only 50 spots total for this event and I know they are going fast!

Neutral Ground North had a few competitors at the C3 BJJ Grapplefest in Indiana. This Jiu Jitsu tournament is comprised primarily of Chicago and Indiana schools and is featuring both GI and NOGI competition. Neutral Ground competitors Tyler, Jamie, Joe and Luke competed in the GI divisions and had a blast. Congradulations to all Jiu Jitsu competitors!

Neutral Ground was luckey enough to host a Luiz Claudio and Thiago Veiga seminar while they were in town from Brazil. These Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belts shared some really unique techniques with the group. Everyone had a blast at the Black Belt seminar and plan on coming next time Luiz and Thiago are in town.

Neutral Ground hosted a basic Jiu Jitsu for self-defense seminar for the Concordia University - Mequon students . This was a great way for college students, both male and female, to try out some beginner BJJ techniques and help improve their self-defense. Many of the students had a blast and plan on attending regular jiu jitsu classes. Neutral Ground and Neutral Ground North are very close to many colleges: UWM, Marquette, MSOE, MATC, MIAD, Concordia, etc... If you would like to schedule a self-defense / beginner Jiu Jitsu class please contact us.

Neutral Ground competes in caged grappling dual meet against waukesha MMA. It was a fun night of grappling! Some wins, some losses, but everyone had a blast competing.
