This past weekend, two of the top teams in the Wisconsin jiu jitsu community met head to head and the result was nothing less than entertaining. Hosted at Neutral Ground Milwaukee, the dual meet featured some great match-ups, heavy takedowns, and tight submissions. Check out the final results and a photo journal of the event.
A huge congradulations to Neutral Ground North Jiu Jitsu competitors Jeff and Conner who went up to the Ultimite Grappling Championship and scored two first place victories in the adult NOGI divisions. Make sure to congradulate them at practice or next time you see them!

Neutral Ground North will be having regular open mat hours this Sunday on the 4th at 10AM-12AM.
We will be practicing in GI, NOGI, Judo, Conditioning, and striking.

In an effort to bring new knowledge and a different skill-set to Wisconsin, Neutral Ground has partnered with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belts Luiz Claudio and Thiago Veiga. Thiago Veiga, a Rickson Gracie black belt will serve as Neutral Ground North’s head instructor, and add to Wisconsin’s impressive collection of jiu-jitsu practitioners.

Luiz Claudio, a 3-Stripe BJJ Black Belt (directly under Rickson), is in town from Brazil.
He will be coming on Friday April 16th to do a seminar from 6:30-9:30pm at NG Milwaukee.
This seminar is open to everyone and I'd REALLY encourage everyone to make it out and see his unique BJJ teachnique. It's a whole different view than what most Wisconsin... so it will be great for people of any belt level!!
